I am very busy mother of 4.
Being part of a family that is active in charity events, I would often attend then with my children. I decided to help by using my skills at painting face to contribute to the causes. This also enabled me to build up my children’s face painting skills to the point that I felt confident enough to charge an attendance fee for paid work at shows.
The fees helped replace the facepaints and applicators as they became used. The time I spent painting the faces helped me grow and become more a more outgoing person better able to deal with other people and their children.
This boost of my skills with people upped my confidence levels. While adding this skill to my CV helped me get my dream job. Unfortunately the full time work has made it difficult to devote enough time to face painting that I would have like to.
I have gained a lot of experience painting children’s faces over the years that I had been running my project. I want to share my knowledge with you here and hopefully it can guide you as much fun as I had painting faces.
